Before Installation
You need administrator permissions, the owner's email and a backup of the website and settings. The module requires PHP 8.1 or later; check compatibility with your Bitrix version and template customisations. Cart handling requires working trading catalogue and online store modules. If staging is available, connect it first using a separate Anmarto site so that test data does not replace the live catalogue.
The module offers account creation for a new store. For an existing store, use the owner's dashboard and the intended site's secret. Do not create a second account merely because you lost a key: check access recovery and keys first.
Installation and First Connection
- Install the solution identified as
abr.searchthrough the Bitrix Marketplace. With a manually supplied package, the administrator places it in the website's modules directory and starts installation through Marketplace → Installed solutions. - Open the Anmarto search module settings under Settings → Module settings, then open the Connection tab. In a Russian Bitrix administration interface, this tab is labelled «Подключение».
- If you have no account, enter the owner's email and site address, then select Create account. Use a real domain reachable for ownership verification.
- If confirmation is pending, open the email, confirm your address and return to the button for obtaining the key after confirmation. A pending account is not a completed connection.
- For an existing site, enter the
ik_…secret in Anmarto key and save. Do not enter a public key. Leave the service address and advanced settings unchanged unless there is a reason to alter them. - Check the message confirming that Anmarto is reachable and the key is accepted, together with the domain. Check which of search and the AI consultant are connected.
- Open the site-section list under What to index and inspect the sources. Explicitly disable unwanted public information blocks before the first export.
- Configure fields and select Export to search now. After the data is accepted, find a reference product, then proceed to embedding, not the other way round.
| Visible State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Waiting for email confirmation | Complete the email step and obtain the key |
| Key accepted, domain correct | The server connection is established |
| Search or consultant not connected | A module checkbox alone cannot enable that product |
| More prepared than accepted | Check catalogue restrictions and the export message |
| Key accepted but no results | Check sources, export and indexing separately |
Updating an Existing Installation
Before updating, record the module version, selected sources, automatic embedding settings and results page. Keep a backup, but do not put secrets in a publicly accessible document. After updating, check connection, sources and storefront again, including mobile. An installed solution does not prove that a customised template uses the new widget.
Upgrading from abr.search 1.x
The new version does not use the old search-engine connection scheme. Old parameters do not substitute for an Anmarto key. Complete Connection again, export the selected sources and configure the new widget. Do not assume that the update automatically preserves the previous replacement of standard Bitrix search components.
When Connection Stops
For account-creation errors, check email, domain and ownership verification access. For rejected credentials, check the site, secret type and revocation, then the server's HTTPS access. If the key is accepted but products are missing, do not reinstall first: inspect the catalogue and fields. If two search boxes or chat buttons appear, check manual embedding and the old package. Complete connection verification before enabling the new interface for customers.
