Fields, Prices and Product Offers

Map your store data to search cards so that customers see correct links, prices, specifications and a particular available product variant.

Essential Data

An identifier must remain stable between imports. A name and address make a record usable in results; the Bitrix module skips items without a usable title or URL. Descriptions explain a product's purpose, while specifications support filters, comparisons and selection. Do not place prices or availability only in descriptions: these are separate commercial values.

Bitrix Source Setting What to Choose
Content type, Index Actual content type and explicit source inclusion
Page address, Title Public product page and customer-readable name
Description, Image Appropriate element fields or properties; multiple descriptions are possible
Category Information-block section or suitable property
Price, Price group Trading catalogue and the intended group, or a price property
Price before discount, Catalogue discounts Original price and public catalogue discount handling
Products without a price Whether items without positive prices belong in results
Warehouse stock, Product variants Warehouse data and properties used to select an offer
Mode, Properties All text properties or an explicitly selected set

Mapping a Source

  1. In Bitrix, open Connection → What to index → the site-section list, then the intended source settings.
  2. Check the type and indexing choice. Do not enable the offers information block separately merely to increase card count: variants are collected into the parent product.
  3. Check Page address. Custom patterns support #ELEMENT_ID#, #CODE#, #SECTION_ID# and #IBLOCK_ID#. For example, /catalog/#CODE#/ works only if those pages actually exist.
  4. Choose title, description, image and category sources. Make sure the selected fields are filled for reference products, not just one particularly complete card.
  5. For Price, choose the trading catalogue or the appropriate property. If multiple price groups are available, select the public one; the base group is the default.
  6. Decide whether to apply discounts and exclude products without prices. Do not confuse a zero price, a missing price and an out-of-stock product.
  7. Select variant properties such as colour and size, then product specifications. In selected-only mode, an empty selection means no properties, not automatic inclusion of all properties.
  8. Save, export again and check the parent card, each reference variant, price and cart.

Price and Availability

Bitrix calculates catalogue discounts for the All users group. Personal discounts and cart rules can produce a different amount for another customer. Compare the public search price with the public product page, and check the selected offer separately in the cart.

If only Price before discount is provided, it may become the regular price. Do not use it to claim a discount without a current price. For a product with offers, the card price is taken from the cheapest available offer; parent availability means at least one offer is available. It does not mean every colour or size is available.

If no offers are available, the card can retain a price from unavailable variants. Check the price together with availability; a number alone does not authorise purchase. Stock quantity and permission to purchase are not the same: Bitrix rules can allow purchases at zero stock. Warehouse information depends on inventory data and the selected export settings. Do not promise availability in a particular city from a single overall availability flag.

Feed Example

This illustrative JSON describes one simple product without variants. Replace the address, currency and values with your own; it does not describe a personalised price.

{"items":[{"id":"sample-chair","name":"Sample chair","url":"https://shop.example/catalog/sample-chair/","price":120,"currency":"EUR","available":true,"description":"Wooden chair","properties":{"material":"wood"}}]}

Specifications and Manual Changes

Send genuine attributes with units and stable names. Width: 60 cm is more useful than an unexplained number. Do not choose exchange metadata, internal notes or marketplace advertising text as product variants. A missing value does not confirm a selection condition; enabling a filter cannot create missing facts.

The module attempts to identify brand, article number and barcode from conventional properties such as BRAND, CML2_ARTICLE and BARCODE. Check the actual results: unusual codes may require changes to your integration, and the source form has no universal editor for these fields. Do not replace a stable product identifier with a changing article number during updates.

In Products (/lk/products), find the card and select Edit. You can change its description and specifications here, not its price or stock quantity. After Save, the change remains on top of exports. Restore from feed beside a changed field removes the override. Specifications are saved as a set: check all rows before saving, not just the newly added row.

If a product disappears, inspect its address, title and no-price exclusion. If a filter is missing, inspect the exported property and value. If a new export does not change the text, remove an unwanted override. Continue with the catalogue, search and cart.
